Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, known professionally as Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American performer, actress, and radio host who is popularly referred to being the mother of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and the mother of comic Raul Vale. Angelica Maria Vale Hartman is recognized as the originator of the La Balada Ranchera musical genre that reached the top of charts in 1973. Angelica Maria became the first Latino singer to achieve 2 million copies of sales in the United States. In 1974 she married Venezuelan comic/singer Raul Vae who she had met in 1974.
